First time I had seen Dr. Canales. He was interested in my responses to his questions and explained the tests he was ordering and how they would help him determine any course of treatment. I am to see him again in a few weeks after all tests are completed

This was the 3rd reschedule that they were going to reschedule again and I told them I needed to see Doctor before I went out of town next month. So, they scheduled me at 2:30 on 6/7/21 and I finally got out of his office at 4:30. Dr Canales is a great doctor, but getting an appt with him is a bit hard.

There is always some wait to see the doctor. Depending on unforseen happenings, it is sometimes longer than other times. I believe the staff and doctors do their best to move things along as well as they can on any given day.

Very positive in doing the procedure to consider my experience with the last stress test which I had such bad reaction of head ache and nasuea. I was willing to do stress test with treadmill and some nucelar meds.

We arrived at 10:50am for n 11:00am appointment and sat in the office and exam rooms for over and hour and a half. I filled out information on the portal several days earlier and put in my new insurance information put when the check in pulled it up it was my old insurance. i'm not to happy with the portal otherwise all was fine.

My original appointment was during the week of the snowstorm. When trying to reschedule, no one returned my phone call for several days. When I finally did get the first person on the phone, they were dismissive. Thankfully I called back and this time, they explained the situation much better. When I heard from Mandy, she was wonderful in getting me an appointment the next day. I realize there was a lot going on with the snowstorm and water damage at the Legacy Oaks site, however when you have cardiac patients with issues, there has to be a better back up system.

I never met with Dr Canales after waiting (arrived at 1115 am, appt 1130 am, 1225 pm advised by dr assistant can I return at 200 pm to meet with Dr Canales. I responded "no I cannot n walked out of examining room". I then saw Dr Canales seating at a Computer right outside my examining room.

I feel he needs to take time with the patient and not act like you are a number! He never made eye contact and wasn't very caring to the other needs of a persons life he just said don't do it if you want to die it's up to you! I feel just say not to do something isn't right especially not know the history of the problem in full ! I went to him because I know he is the best but bed side minor needs help!

I do not understand the lack of any diagnostic or objective input in my treatment. Nearly three years since my last heart attack I have not completed a stress test, ultra sound, or anything to examine the level of my cardiovascular disease.

We listed two pharmacies--one local Walgreens and Express-Scripts for a 90-day supply. Dr. Canales prescribed a diuretic to begin right away. The prescription was sent to Exp-Scr instead of Walgreens and we are still waiting to get it. This has thrown off the follow up blood work and appointment as well as relief.
